it's Christmas in May!!! our stuff arrived about a week ago so since we've been busy making our house a home (ha) we haven't posted recently. it's been so fun to unpack boxes that we didn't have room for in Cali and find wedding gifts and other things we forgot we have. here you go for those of you who have been anxiously awaiting the view of the Schaub house. the bedroom picts will come later when finished decorating. make sure you notice our new teak desk...isn't it lovely?

also, did you know that on AF bases they post your name on the outside of your house so you can know where everyone lives? so we have "LTJG A. Schaub" on the outside of the house...i thought i lived here too, but i guess i didn't make the cut. however, it is very handy in finding someone's house.

this weekend a friend from our bible study who is PCSing (permanent change of station...i.e. leaving) is staying here because she already checked out of her house. she has two dogs so our only child, Peanut, is having issues sharing her toys and controlling her bladder. amazing how a little change in your day can make you pee and poop all over the place.

the kitchen and dining room...it's really bright in the morning so the picts aren't the best.


happy mother's day to those of you that are mothers out there. i even got a mother's day card today for being a new mom to my dog. i didn't know the job came with such great perks(thanks claudia).
