Saturday morning in the backyard

I took Sam outside this morning and soon discovered that we are getting our FIRST bloom on this lovely Birds of Paradise in our backyard. When we moved it, it was limp, on the ground, pitiful. Can't wait for the bloom!


And then I remembered we were given this purple beauty. It freaked Sam out when he first rocked on it so I thought we'd try it again.


Yet all we want to do these days is eat grass.






He's so talented, he can blow bubbles from his nose. {lovely runny nose, eh?}
