Six months.

He sits up. Eats vegetables. Rolls like crazy. Laughs so much. Is a very happy, laid-back baby. Sleeps all through the night and takes three naps. Eats four times a day. We are so thankful.

Sam, we love you. We often race to see who can get to you first in the morning since you are so fun to pick up...always smiling. We love your huge open mouth grin...the sounds you make, even when you eat...the way you suck your middle and ring fingers...your little duck tail (aka mullet) on the back of your head...the manly bodily functions from your tiny body...how your face lights up when you see us...how much you love the outdoors...when you grab our face...when you cuddle and 'hug' us...how well you travel...how you can entertain yourself pretty easily...how you make strangers smile. Oh how much joy you have brought this mama and daddy over the past six months. We're pretty much smitten.
