Bricks, sweat, and iced tea

After rotten siding was replaced...

And plumbing leaks were fixed...

We gathered all the bricks lining the flower beds and built a brick patio. The pictures don't do justice to the serious amount of math, shoveling, pounding, pouring, drinking tea, and sweating that took place. With eight unique types of brick, we pieced them together and the sand brushed inbetween the bricks was the grace.

Our faithful friends, the Richerson's and the Brown's, came out for the hard work day. We could not have done this without them (without Aaron or me killing the other).

The siding has been painted and the patio is fabulous. Now you can come join us on the lovely patio for dinner...it's the best spot in Corpus we think.
